Eugene M. Kolesar

Eugene M. Kolesar of Streator heard a whisper “your suffering is over, it is meant to be, close your eyes, come with me I will take you through heaven’s door, and your pain is no more.”

He is survived by his wife Barbara; his only daughter, Linda; favorite granddaughters, Regina and Rebecca; great granddaughters, Andrea and Adriana and a new one not here for him to see; brother in law, Robert (Lin Lin) Kashak; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Xavier Gonzalez and Gustavo Rodriguez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Theresa Kolesar; brothers, Louis and John; nephews, Terrance and Bradley; sisters, Francine and Josephine and very close grandsons, Jeremy and Lucas; son in law, Frank E. Lurz; and a sister in law, Dorothy Kashak.

Eugene was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be sadly missed for his sense of humor. Eugene was a quiet, gentle man and the love and devotion he had for our Lord and savior shall remain endless.

Private services were held at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearer was Linda Lurz. Pallbearers were Robert Kashak, Gustavo Rodriguez, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Jason Telford and Joe Rabbitt.
