Janet L. Hunt

Janet L. Hunt, 56, of Peoria and formerly of Manville passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Sharon Elms Healthcare in Peoria.

Private services will be held. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery, Streator. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born October 6, 1961 in Streator she was the daughter of Francis and Jeanette (Hart) Tallent. She married Delbert Hunt. He survives in Peoria.

She is also survived by sisters, Debra Kay (John) Irons of Manville and Carol Francis (Roger) Tallent-Hartman of Dekalb; brothers, Michael Lee (Geri) Tallent of Manville and David Dean (Janet) Tallent of Manville; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Emmanuel and Dorothy Hart; and paternal grandparents, Tori and Robert Tallent.

She attended Woodland grade school and high school. She also attended Streator Beauty School.

Janet loved crafting of all kinds.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
