JoAnn M. Snyder

JoAnn M. Snyder, 69, of Streator passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Private family services will be held. Private Burial will be at St. Vincent’s Cemetery in LaSalle at a later time.

Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born June 3, 1947 in LaSalle she was the daughter of Joseph and Vivian (Mattiucci) Panizzi. She married Gerald W. Snyder on November 20, 1971. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1995.

She is survived by a daughter, Amy Jo (Brian) Mascal of Streator; a son, William (Janea) Snyder of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren, Noah, Grant, Owen, Abby and Malea Mascal; Deja, Marley and Gavin Snyder; and a sister, Judith Herron of Oglesby.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

JoAnn attended LaSalle grade schools and graduated from LaSalle-Peru High School in the class of 1965. She lived in LaSalle, Mendota and Streator through the years.

She was a homemaker and operated a daycare in her home in Mendota for many years.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
