Mary V. Williams

Mary Virginia “Ginnie” (Keesee) Williams, 86, of Commerce City, Colorado and formerly of Streator passed away Thursday December 21, 2017 at her son’s home in Colorado.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. Msgr. Philip Halfacre will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator.

Born December 9, 1931 in Greeley, Kansas she was the daughter of Nicholas and Agnes (Karlskint) Ohmes. She married Donald M. Keesee. He preceded her in death. She later married James Williams. He also preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Roger) McCabe of Princeton; sons, Daniel (Sandy) Keesee of Jacksonville, Michael (Deborah) Keesee of Ransom, Philip (Ramon Robles) Keesee of Commerce City, Colorado, Jeffrey (Angel) Keesee of Carthage, Tennessee, Anthony Keesee of Lakewood, Colorado, Tracy (Mary) Keesee of Westminster, Colorado; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; and her beloved granddogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Wilma Bilyard; and brothers, Robert and Richard Ohmes.

Raised in Streator she attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School.

She was self-employed through the years as a bookkeeper and tax consultant.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish, Streator.
