Miranda L. Englert

Miranda L. “Nani” Englert, 40, of Streator passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 in Streator.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 A.M. Saturday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Fr. Raymond Guthrie will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9-11:30 A.M. Saturday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Streator. Family members and friends of Miranda will serve as pallbearers.

Born December 8, 1976 in Streator she was the daughter of William J. and Carol (Hirkala) Englert. Her parents survive in Streator.

She is also survived by daughters, Marissa Rascicot of Peru and Victoria “Torri” Rascicot of Peoria; a son, Kaden Englert of Ottawa; a granddaughter, Charlotte Rose Sok of Peru; sisters, Marie (Josh) Farrell of Streator and Alanna Jo Englert of Streator; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Doris Hirkala of Streator; many nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by a sister in infancy, Crisandra Lynn Englert; brothers, Luke and Kirk Englert; and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Rita Englert.

Born and raised in Streator Miranda attended St. Anthony Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1995.

She lived in Streator for most of her life having also lived in Florida for 10 years.

Through the years she had worked as a waitress and a bartender as well as in Real Estate.

Miranda had a big heart and touched the lives all of who came into touch with her. She adored her children, nieces and nephews, and her family and friends.

She was an excellent cook who loved making her chicken enchiladas.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
