On behalf of myself and DHS-DRS, I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Shannon's family at this time of her passing. We feel blessed and honored that we were able to get to know her. Her beautiful spirit always shined through and her love for her family and friends was expressed every time we talked. We will always hold our memories of her dear to our hearts. We trust and believe that her spirit is resting and at peace and will pray that God continues to console your spirits and hearts .

It seems like yesterday when all the neighborhood kids playing in each others yards. On sport teams together. Schoolmate's attending classes, participating in school functions and sports. It wasn't to long ago, Shannon had moved from Michigan I believe. She'd be out walking her dog (German Shepherd ) evenings. My mother used to raise Shepards when I was young. Shannon & her companion stopped many evenings as they went by, I think she knew the pleasure they gave me. Reminiscing about dogs and while her pup enjoyed a cool drink of water we would talk. How quick 20 years go by. Those few 10 or 15 minute visits meant a lot to me & to her I hope. I was proud to hear she was attending school. It's so painful to lose a loved one, friend and even a neighbor. The 1st question that comes to me is Why Lord? Why so early? Even with my strong belief and trust in the Lord, it is still upsetting & makes me question why? I believe someday we will find out and I'll will visit Shannon, along with my Parents & Grandparents in heaven. Until that time Lord, please comfort Rob & Carol, RJ, and the rest of the family, and Cradle Shannon in your arms.
