Victoria J. Walzer

Victoria J. Walzer, 72, of Streator passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at O.S.F. St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa, Illinois.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 A.M. Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. Msgr. Philip Halfacre will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Friday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Streator. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Born August 14, 1945 in Streator she was the daughter of Virgil and Anne (Kozak) Klein. She married Michael Walzer on October 14, 1995. He survives in Streator.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Walzer of Streator; a sister, Sandra (Robert) Sangston of Streator; nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Anthony Sangston.

Born and raised in Streator she attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School.

She worked for Owens Illinois Glass Company for 38 years.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. She was also a member of

Bootkicker’s Dance Club through the years.
