Edward R. Hrasch

  Edward R. Hrasch, 79, of Streator, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at O. S. F. St Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

  Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11:00 A. M. at Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. 

  Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M., Thursday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. 

  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator. 

  Born November 2, 1944 in Streator, he was the son of Edward and Hattie (Muntz) Hrasch.

  He is survived by sisters, Frances (Greg) Koncor of Streator, Janet Hrasch of Palatine; a brother, David Hrasch of Evanston; a niece, Nicole Koncor; nephews, Greg, Jeff, Luke and Gabe Koncor and several great nieces and nephews also survive.

  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Beverly Hrasch.

  Born and raised in Streator, Edward attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School, class of 1963. 

  After graduating high school, Ed started working at Thatcher’s Glass and worked as a mold maker until his retirement.

   He was a member of the Msgr. George A. Dzuryo Knights of Columbus Council #790, in Streator and Immaculate Conception Church, Streator.

  Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
