Anna M. Uhren

Anna M. Uhren, 97, of Streator passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care, Streator.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. Rev. Fr. Ryan Mattingly will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Streator. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Born January 5, 1922 in Kinsman she was the daughter of William and Mary Angela (Carney) Weir. She married Frank Uhren on May 20, 1947. He preceded her in death on August 17, 1996.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo (Edward) Musovich of Streator; a son, Dan (Beverly) Uhren of Streator; grandchildren, Edward Musovich of Nashville, Gina Musovich of Streator and Suzanne (Tom) Kakara of Streator; great grandchildren, Logan Musovich, Jesse Porter, Cain Kakara and Trenton Kakara all of Streator; Brianna Enoch, Matthew Musovich, Austin Musovich, Justin Underwood and Jackie Underwood all of Nashville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and sisters, Helen Ely and Wilda Starks.

Born and raised in Kinsman she attended Kinsman schools.

She worked through the years for Seneca Shipyards, Owens Illinois Glass Company and Reed’s (Jero Black).

She was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Church and currently belonged to St. Michael the Archangel Church.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
