Beverly D. Lester

Beverly D. Lester, 79, of Streator passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A.M. Monday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. Rev. Fr. Ryan Mattingly will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Monday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator. Pallbearers will be friends and family members.

Born March 29, 1940 in Mitchell, South Dakota she was the daughter of Clyde and Vivian (Headen) Boyd. She married William Warwick on January 5, 1957. He preceded her in death. She later married Terry Lester on August 21, 1984. He also preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughters, Naomi (Matt) Hauser of Ransom, Gayle Warwick of Lancaster, California, Wilma Warwick of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Andrea (Doug) Durdan of Streator and Noreen (Javid) Azami of New York; sons, John (Sue Gould) Warwick of Streator and Vince (Angie) Warwick of Seneca; 24 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchidren; 34 great grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Renner of Bartonville and Audrey Schou of Streator; a brother in law, Tommy Hilliard of Streator; a son in law, Kirk Kilpatrick of Saginaw, Michigan; several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Nadine Lund; a sister, Winnie Hilliard; brother in laws, Larry Renner and Robert Schou; and a son in law, Mike Lund.

She attended St. Mary’s Grade School and St. Mary’s Academy in Navoo.

She worked as a Production Controler for Mowtown Records in Owossa, Michigan. She also worked for Kyser Century Record Company in Saugus, California. She later worked for Burns Security in Bloominton.

She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and currently belonged to St. Michael the Archangel Church.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
