Donald R. Kudrick

February 18, 1938 ~ August 10, 2018 (age 80)

  Donald R. Kudrick, 80, of Streator passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care, Streator.

  Funeral services will be at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.  Rev. Fr. Ryan Mattingly will officiate.

  Visitation will be from 12:30 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Solon- Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator.  Pallbearers will be family members.  Full military rites will be accorded by members of the Leslie G. Woods American Legion Post 217 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1492.

  Born February 18, 1938 in Streator he was the son of Ervin and Bernadine (Kemmerick) Kudrick.  He married Jane A. Boyles on September 26, 1964 in Streator.  She survives in Streator.

  He is also survived by daughters, Michele (Brian) Talty of Streator and Kelly (Deon) Gotch of Streator; a son, Kevin (Kathleen) Neaterour of Streator; grandchildren, Paige (Nick Schroeder) Neaterour M.D. of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Rebecca Neaterour of Streator, Ashley Grako of Streator, Trevor Talty of Streator, Andrew Gotch of Streator and Hannah Gotch of Streator; sisters, Shirley (Bill) Morrison of Ogden, Nancy (Ed) Oldenburg of Streator and Sandra (Randy) Ranken of Ft. Morgan, Colorado; and one aunt, Delores Quaka.

  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister in infancy, Mary Kudrick.

  Born and raised in Streator he attended St. Anthony Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1956.  He also attended Illinois Valley Community College and received a certificate in Industrial Electricity.

  He served in the United States Army from 1961-1963.

  He worked for Owens Illinois Glass Company for 31 years retiring as an Electrician.

  He was a member of the former St. Casmir’s Church, Leslie G. Woods American Legion Post 217 and the Streator Eagles Club.
