Irene Cali

Irene Cali, 101, of Streator passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Ottawa Pavilion in Ottawa, Illinois.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Msgr. Philip Halfacre will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator. Pallbearers will be family members.

Born January 24, 1917 in Ottawa she was the daughter of Daniel and Margaret (Murry) Ahearn. She married Frank Cali in 1941. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1990.

She is survived by a son, Frank Cali of Huntersville, North Carolina; 4 grandchildren; and a brother, Murry (Elsie) Ahearn of Ottawa.

She was preceded in death her parents; her husband; sisters, Cecelia Revell and Rosmary Ahearn; and one brother, Daniel Ahearn.

She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and currently belonged to St. Michael the Archangel Church.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
