John Mihalovich

John Mihalovich, 90, of Rockford and formerly of Streator passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Rockford.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Russian Orthodox Cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded.

The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born August 30, 1928 in Streator he was the son of Andrew and Mary (Leschinsky) Mihalovich.

He is survived by a sister, Veronica Miller of Streator; nieces and nephews, Wiley (Angie) Miller of Streator, Judy Miller of Streator, Daniel (Angela) Miller of Nebraska, James (Ruthie) Miller of Jerseyville, Ron (Joyce) Green of California and Jack (Lori) Green of California; numerous great nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Eleanore Green.

Born and raised in Streator he attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School. He later attended Coyne Electrical School in Chicago.

He worked various jobs through the years as an Electrician. He retired from Woodward Electrical after 40 years.
