Juanita Bedeker Obituary

Juanita M. Bedeker, 95, of Apache Junction, Arizona and formerly of the Streator area passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at her residence in Apache Junction.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Rev. John Gutz will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Ransom. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Juanita was born November 20, 1922 in Orchardville, Illinois. She was the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Rapp) Austin. She married Elmer J. Bedeker of November 28, 1940 at St. Patrick’s Church, Ransom. He preceded her in death on November 28, 1992.

She is survived by daughters, Judith (Thomas) Mitchell of Rancho Bernardo, California and Janice Bedeker of Apache Junction, Arizona; sons, James (Sally) Bedeker of Morris and John (Susan) Bedeker of Streator; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren, a sister, Vaneta Moran of Columbia, Missouri; brothers, William Austin of Denton, Texas, Ronald Austin of Florida and Donald Austin of Florida and a daughter in law, Jackie Sims-Bedeker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sons, Jeffrey Bedeker and Jay Bedeker; and a grandson, Mike Bedeker.

Juanita was a former member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
