Karen G. Mehn

Karen G. Mehn, 67, of Streator passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at O.S.F. St. James Medical Center in Pontiac.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 P.M. Saturday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Rev. Aaron will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10: A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Saturday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Private family burial will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator.

Born August 23, 1951 in Streator she was the daughter of Donald and Lorraine (Wilkinson) Mehn.

She is survived by a niece, Jennifer (Cody) Lambert of Iowa; a nephew, Josh Mehn of Streator; an aunt, Sandra Fritz of Reading; and special friends, Danny “Pewee” Lynch of Streator and Jimmy McLaughlin of Streator; numerous cousins and friends survive; she is also survived by her special church family that meant so very much to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; a sister, Donna Mehn and a special friend, Elizabeth “Betty” McLaughlin.

Born and raised in Streator she graduated from Streator High School. She lived in Streator her lifetime.

She was a very active member of First Assembly of God Church in Streator. Her church family was a very big part of Karen’s life. She loved them very much and they loved her as well. She will be truly missed by all her friends and family.
