Karen M. Reinmann

Karen M. Reinmann, 69, of Streator passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at her residence in Streator.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Rev. Fr. Ryan Mattingly will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Monday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Born October 26, 1948 in Streator she was the daughter of Louis and Eleanore (Mehalic) Chismarick. She married Mark R. Reinmann on December 21, 1968 at St. Stephen’s Church, Streator. He survives in Streator.

She is also survived by a daughter, Julie Mounce of Streator; a son, Jan-Michael (Heather) Reinmann of Streator; grandchildren, Alexis Reed of Streator, Jake Mounce of Streator, Michael Reinmann of Streator and Kaylee Sroka of Streator; a brother, Mark (Diane) Chismarick of Streator; a sister, Lisa Dunning of Streator; several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Born and raised in Streator she attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and Woodland High School Class of 1966.

She worked for Merle Vissering State Farm, the post offices in Streator and Bloomington for 15 years. She then owned and operated Mr. John’s Dry cleaning from 1999 until her retirement in 2013.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Streator High School Special Olympics.
