Margaret J. Langhoff

Margaret J. Langhoff, 88, of Streator passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Tinley Park, Illinois.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Rev. Anne Ferguson will officiate.

Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Saturday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Pontiac. Pallbearers will be her family members.

Born February 11, 1930 in Cornell she was the daughter of John and Mary (Lanahan) Bevill. She married Seth N. Langhoff on June 29, 1947 in Odell. Seth preceded her in death on August 6, 2004.

She is survived by sisters, Janet Washburn of Houston, Texas and Mary Bigger of Pontiac; a brother, John Bevill of Bloomington; several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Wilma Sinn, Betty Klein and Dorothy Wood; and brothers, Wilber and Charles Bevill.

Raised in Odell she attended Odell Grade School and Odell High School. She moved to Streator in 1947 when she married her husband Seth. When Seth passed away they had been married for 57 years.

She worked for Owens Illinois Glass Company for 35 years.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Streator Moose and the VFW Women’s Auxiliary.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed in Margaret’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Mooseheart Children’s Home or the charity of the donor’s choice.
