Molly L. Yacko

Molly L. Yacko, 20, of Streator passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 in Streator.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Rev. Fr. David Kipfer will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery, Ottawa. Honorary pallbearers will be her very special cousins, Emily Yacko, Hanna Kearfott, Randi Lynn Reynolds, Delayne Lyon and Madison Wright.

Born March 4, 1998 in Ottawa she was the daughter of Jake and Katie (Reynolds) Yacko.

She is survived by her father, Jake Yacko of Grand Ridge; step-mother, Tara Yacko of Streator; a special aunt, Anna Wright of Ottawa; sisters, Ashlyn and Addison Yacko of Streator; paternal grandfather, Don Yacko of Grand Ridge; maternal grandfather, Jim Reynolds of Ottawa; maternal grandmother, Debbie Reynolds of Ottawa; uncles, Eric (Vicky) Yacko of Grand Ridge, Sean Reynolds of Normal and Joe Reynolds of Ottawa; and aunt, Jessie Yacko of Grand Ridge; a special friend, Zac Surrock of Streator; many cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Katie Reynolds; paternal grandmother, Sue Yacko; and paternal great grandmother, Louise “Nana” Yacko.

Raised in the Streator and Grand Ridge area she attended Grand Ridge Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 2016.

She was currently attending Illinois Valley Community College and was waitressing at Chipper’s Restaurant.

Molly was very active in Cross Country in High School and was named the most valuable player of her team her freshman year.

Molly had a personality that lit up a room when she walked in. She could always bring a smile to your face with her infectious spirit. She was an outgoing and vivacious person who loved to have fun. She was loved by her family and close friends and will be forever dearly missed.
