Nancy Oldenburg

Nancy D. Oldenburg, 77, of Streator passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at her residence in Streator.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 P.M. Friday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Friday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Streator. Pallbearers will be nephews, Kevin Neaterour, Rick Craig, Brian Talty, Deon Gotch; and Bob Muntz and Scott Sauer. Honorary pallbearer will be Trevor Talty.

Born July 30, 1941 in Streator she was the daughter of Ervin and Bernadine (Kemmerick) Kudrick. She married Edward W. Oldenburg in 1962.

She is survived by a son, Doug (Diane Muntz-Oldenburg) Oldenburg of Streator; her lifelong companion, Edward Oldenburg of Streator; sisters, Shirley (Bill) Morrison of Ogden and Sandy (Randy) Rankin of Colorado; she was also survived by and aunt, Delores Quaka of Streator and her grand puppies.

She was preceded in death by her parents: a brother, Don Kudrick; and a sister, Mary Kudrick: and a longtime companion, Gary “Soupy” Sopko.

Born and raised in Streator she attended St. Anthony Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1959.

She worked through the years at Lipton Tea and Teleweld.

She was a member of the former St. Anthony Church and the American Legion.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
