Pamela K. O’Brien, 62, of Flanagan and formerly of California and Nevada passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Flanagan Rehabilitation and Health Care in Flanagan, Illinois.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be held at a late date in Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, California.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5:15 P.M. Thursday, December 7th at Flanagan Rehabilitation in Flanagan, Illinois.
The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Born November 16, 1955 in San Francisco she was the daughter of George and Opal (Datsun) Merjil.
She is survived by a son, Daniel O’Brien of Nevada; her mother, Opal Merjil of California; a sister, Debbie Ortiz of Streator; a niece, Annette (Daniel) Harcar of Streator; great niece, Mikayla Harcar and a great nephew, Tristen Harcar both of Streator; she is also survived by all of the staff at Flanagan Rehabilitation who were her family over the last few years.
She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Gary.
Born and raised in California she attended grade school and high school in California. She also lived in Nevada for several years.
Through the years Pam was a professional Roller Derby player for the San Francisco Bay Bombers. She was also a Hotel Consultant.
