Patrick Mark Schuler

Patrick “Mark” Schuler, 61, of Streator passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

There will be no funeral services. Cremation rites will be accorded. Private burial will be held in Riverview Cemetery, Strreator. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born December 11, 1956 in Streator he was the son of Glen and Grace (Brooks) Schuler. He married Angela “Angel” McLaughlin on November 12, 1992 in Ottawa. She survives in Streator.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary “Rachel” Schuler of Streator; a son, Donald Ora Glen Schuler of Streator; brother, David (Diane) Schuler of Streator; a sister, Elizabeth Drog of Rockford; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Dan and Jerry Schuler.

Born and raised in Streator he attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1974.

He lived his lifetime in Streator. He was currently working as an electrician for James Hardie.

Mark loved fishing with his kids and gave guitars lessons in his younger day. He was also formerly a member of the band Fortran.
