Phillip J. Verdiramo

Phillip J. Verdiramo, 80, of Las Vegas and formerly of Streator passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A.M. Thursday, May 30, 2019 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator.

Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator. Friends and family members will serve as pallbearers.

Born June 3, 1938 in Streator he was the son of Canelo “Nick” and Rose Constance (Panno) Verdiramo.

He is survived by daughters, Keri Noseworthy of Streator and Lisa Page of Las Vegas; sons, Joseph Verdiramo of Junction City, Kansas and Phil (Sally) Verdiramo of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Lacy (Keith Roach) Gillette, Kelsie (Tim) Brown, Collin (Ashley) Gillette, James Noseworthy, Amanda Page and Andrew Page; 4 great grandchildren; a niece, Angie (Dan) Carlson of Downers Grove and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Verdiramo and a sister in infancy.

Born and raised in Streator he attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School. He also attended Western Illinois University.

He was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church.

Phillip lived in Streator until 1971 when he moved to Las Vegas. He worked at Caesar’s Palace in hospitality for 42 years.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
