Robert E. Missel, 77, of Trenton, Florida and formerly of Streator passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 in Trenton, Florida.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Visitation will be from 12-2 P.M. Sunday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Born January 29, 1942 in Streator he was the son of Eugene and Dorothy (Wolff) Missel.

He is survived by his children, Gina Missel of Streator, Amanda Jo Missel of Ottawa, Shane Missel of Lacon, Robert E. (Heather) Missel Jr. of Streator, Irvin Missel of Freeport; Kurt Missel of Mitchell, Nebraska, Brad Conn of Peoria Heights and Tim Osborne of Bushnell; a brother, Kenneth (Evelyn) Missel of Florida; and a sister, Marsha Pence of Streator.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Tiffany Missel; and brothers, Kevin and Frederick Missel.

Born and raised in Streator he attended Woodland Grade School and Woodland High School.

He worked for the family business and the farmed through the years.

He was a member of the Central Church of Christ.
