Roland A. "Ron" Warren

Roland A. “Ron” Warren, 74, of Morris passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Visitation will be from 1-3 P.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Full military rites will be accorded by members of the Leslie G. Woods American Legion Post 217 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1492.

Inurnment will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Born January 29, 1945 in Flora he was the son of Benjamin and Lola (Johnson) Warren. He married Sherry Sember in November of 1998. She preceded him in death on February 21, 2019.

He is survived by children, Pamela Triplett of Morris, Phillip Warren of Morris, Ron Warren Jr. of Morris, Monica (Mike Vega) Anderson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Beckylynn Erschen of Streator, Suzanne (David) Anderson of Ottawa, August “Gus” (Sandy) Anderson of Streator and Erin (Lisa) McCann of Streator, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews survive. Roland was one of last surviving members of his family of 14 brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife and a daughter, Jennifer Warren.

He served in the United States Army for 4 years.

He was a truck driver for Yellow Freight Lines for many years.
