Ruthanne Noel

Ruthanne Noel, 78, of Streator passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Streator.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born March 11, 1940 in Streator she was the daughter of Andrew and Ruth (Sawyer) Kozak. She married Richard Noel Sr. on February 19, 1965. He preceded her in death in 2003.

She is survived by sons, Randy (Patty) Ross of Streator, Ron (Mary) Ross of Ottawa, Richard Noel Jr. of Streator and Ryan (Tonya Babcock) Noel of Marseilles; a daughter, Rosey Noel of Joliet; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Steve Kozak of Streator and Frank Kozak of Streator; and a sister, Frances Mays of South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Laverne Sawyer; sisters, Marcia Triplett, Carolyn Flanery and Donna Kozak in infancy; and a daughter in law, Beverly Noel.

She was a caretaker for the elderly through the years.

Ruthie loved to play cards and play practical jokes on her family and friends. She will be remembered with a smile to all who knew her.
