Virginia J. “ Dougherty, 84, of Streator passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Care, Streator.

Private family graveside services will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Streator.

Born June 4, 1935 in Streator she was the daughter of Daniel and Helen (Matuszyk) Dougherty.

She is survived by daughters, Diana Frye and LeAnna Maul; a son, Gary Frye; 3 grandchildren; a sister, Rose Mary Austin; nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Maxine Brennan.
