Angela M. Roach, 63, of Streator passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 11th at St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church, Streator.
Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Friday, May 10th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Streator. Pallbearers will be her sons, Adam and Alex Roach; nephews, Cody Roach, Jason Roach and Ryan Mushro; and Tanner Haar.
She was born January 25, 1961 in Streator the daughter of Lester and Shirley (Thomas) Nicholas. She married Kyle Roach on June 26, 1981 at St. Stephen’s Church in Streator.
She is survived by her husband, Kyle Roach of Streator; a daughter, Emily (Tanner Haar) Roach of Streator; sons, Adam (Sheena) Roach of Millbrook and Alexander (Tabatha Maslanka) Roach of Ottawa; grandchildren, Emmett Roach, Eli Roach and Harper Roach; brothers, Todd (Susan) Nicholas of Mahomet and Tom (Deb Krumwiede) Johnson of Ottawa; her mother in law, Martha Roach of Streator; and her beloved dog and companion, Marley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an uncle, Philip “Peanuts” Nicholas; and her father in law, John “Jack” Roach.
Born and raised in Streator she attended Streator schools and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1979.
She worked in the early years for ACM Distributing and Illinois Fruit and Produce. She later worked for Office Max in account sales and for People Link as a Human Resources Manager. She ended her career with Hearthside Foods where she worked in Human Resources.
Angie had many loves in her life which included hanging out in her swimming pool, shopping, boating, and traveling to Myrtle Beach with her family. She also loved and cherished her puppy Marley. But most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family. She will be dearly missed by them all.
