Arthur W. Scott

Arthur W. Scott, 59, of Streator passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 surrounded by his family at his residence in Streator.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Friday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Visitation will be from 1-3 P.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator. Full military rites will be accorded by members of the Leslie G. Woods American Legion Post 217 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1492.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Born April 27, 1959 in Pontiac he was the son of Charles and Marilyn (Kennedy) Scott.

He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Scott of Streator; daughters, Erika Scott of Streator and Rebecca Brown of Streator; a son, Eric (Trish) Gallup of Colorado; 8 grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Rick) Bay of Streator and Kristine Uhren of Streator; brothers, George Scott of Streator and Walter Scott of Minnesota; his fiancé, Christy Brown of Streator; many nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father; an infant son, David; a niece, Heather Uhren; a nephew, Dalton Mesarchik; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Arthur served in the United States Navy from 1975-1977 and was a Seaman E1.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting through the years.
