Betty Campbell Obituary

  Betty M. Campbell, 95, of Manville passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at her home in Manville.

  Funeral services will be private.  The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery, Streator.  Pallbearers will be Brad Campbell, Kurt Campbell, Josh Campbell, Ben Campbell, Jim Driver and Ken Schwartz.

  Born December 6, 1925 in Streator she was the daughter of William and Carrie (Jones) Koetz.  She married Orrin E. Campbell on November 24, 1946.  He preceded her in death in 1996.

  She is survived by three sons, Tye (Judy) Campbell of Manville, Terry (Georgia) Campbell of Manville and Todd (Betty Ann) Campbell of Manville; grandchildren, Brad (Angela) Campbell, Christy (Jim) Driver, Kurt (Danielle) Campbell, Susan Campbell, Josh (Laura) Campbell, Jennifer Salisbury, Amanda Wickman, Ben (Keshya) Campbell, Kevin Zehr and Christy Saucedo; 20 great grandchildren; a brother, David (Donna) Koetz of Lockport; sisters in law, Muriel Koetz and Sandy Campbell; several nieces and nephews also survive.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Dorothy Schobert and Helen Ordman; brothers, Gerald Koetz and Dale Koetz; brothers in law, Ralph Schobert and Ralph Ordman; sister in law, Wyllene Koetz; and a great granddaughter in infancy, Mary Salisbury.

  Betty attended grade school in the Kernan area as well as Centennial School.  She graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1943.

  She grew up in the Kernan area and then lived most of her lifetime in Manville.

  She was of the Methodist faith.

  Memorials may be directed to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in Oak Park, Illinois or the Livingston County Humane Society.
