Betty Elko Obituary

Betty J. Elko, 87, of Streator passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at her residence in Streator.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Private family burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator.

The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born September 4, 1930 in Ottawa she was the daughter of Newman and Evelyn (Venson) Anderson. She married Edward Elko. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1995.

She is survived by a sister, Joan LaPradd; brothers, Wendell Anderson, Donald (Mary) Anderson and Dean Anderson; her niece and caregiver, Denise Scheib; several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Marilyn Tunget; and brothers, Sidney and Ray Anderson.
