Brad Gould

Brad Gould, 62, of Streator passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at O.S.F. Center for Health – Streator.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Jim Eplin will officiate.

Visitation will be from 1-4 P.M. Monday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Born December 10, 1957 in Streator he was the son of Gordon Gould and Joan (Webb) Thomas. He married Teresa “Terri” Katchmar on August 19, 1983 in Streator.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Gould of Streator; daughters, Amy (Greg) Nink of Streator, Anna (Robert) Wyness of Griffith, Indiana and Erin (John) Baker of Bloomington; a son, Ryan (Lori) Etenburn of Rainsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Brandon (Hannah) Nink of Streator, Brianne (Connor) Armstrong of Streator, Alyssa Etenburn, Amelia and Elsie Wyness, Drake and Lucy Baker; great grandchildren, Elliana and Audrey Nink and Josie Armstrong; and a brother, Randy (Jackie) Gould of Jacksonville, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Gary Gould.

Born and raised in Streator he attended Streator schools and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1976. He also attended Florida State University.

He worked for Exelon Corporation as a Nuclear Reactor Operator for 35 years until his retirement in 2014. While at Exelon he also served as a Union Steward.

Brad had a great zest for life and was very active through the years enjoying cycling, fly-fishing, running and woodworking. He was very involved with the Streator Family YMCA. He got much enjoyment out of spending quality time with family and friends.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be sadly missed by his loving family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Streator Family YMCA or the Grand Ridge Volunteer Fire Department.
