Carl W. Cox Sr. 81 of Pontiac passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation, Streator

Mr. Cox was born June 13, 1938 in Columbus, Indiana the son of John and Lula (Baker) Cox.
He had been a machinist, truck driver and corrections officer. He was of Baptist faith.
Carl was a member of the 101st Airborne serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by four daughters, Becky (Jamie) Hart, Streator, Tammy (Robert) Hall, Saunemin, Kim (Brandon) Tackett, Eldorado, and Lula Cox, Pontiac, sons, John (Tabetha) Cox, Pontiac and Carl Wesley Cox Jr., Edinburgh Indiana, 14 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren, one sister Sarah (Ronald) Missel
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mary Bushey, Barbara Sherwood , brothers John, Walter, Thomas, and Clearance. and one grandchild Destiny.
