Carol L. Crawford, 86, of Streator passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Pleasant View Lutheran Home in Ottawa.

  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM Friday, February 14th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator, with funeral services immediately following.

  Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery, Streator.

  Born March 16, 1938 in Streator she was the daughter of Vernon and Lucile (Stonecipher) Voigts.  She married Gene R. Crawford on March 16, 1960 in Streator.  He survives.

  She is also survived by a son, David Voigts of Flower Mound, Texas; daughters, Debbie Parker of Louden, Tennessee, Claire (Ken) Rosenson of Eden, Utah and Jayne (Stephen) Nashold of Mendota; 13 grand-children and 7 great-grandchildren.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Tracy, in infancy.

  Born and raised in Streator she attended local grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1956.  She lived in Streator her entire lifetime.

  She worked for many years as a dental assistant.

  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

  Carol really enjoyed the outdoors and loved her life on the farm.  She also adored her family and especially her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
