Carol W. Hepler

  Carol W. Hepler passed away peacefully on October 15, 2022 in Cumming, Georgia.

  Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday October 22nd at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home. 

  Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Streator. 

  Mrs. Hepler was born in Chicago, Illinois and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Weidner.  She attended elementary school in Oak Park, graduating from Oak Park and River Forest High School. She graduated from Illinois State University and received a Master’s in Education from the University of Illinois in Champaign - Urbana. 

  She married Max W. Hepler in 1961 in Streator. He passed away in 2004. She taught at Greeley School in Streator, and was affiliated with First United Methodist Church.

  Mrs. Hepler is survived by one daughter, Brenda (William) McDaniel of St. Louis, MO, and two sons, Brent (Jennifer) Hepler of Minneapolis, MN, and Dr. Bradley (Renee) Hepler of Alpharetta, GA; and grandchildren Erika C., Grant L., Jenna K., and Jordyn K. McDaniel, and Bradley R., Brandon R., and Brody V. Hepler. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sons Brandon R. and Brian W. Hepler.
