Carol Miller, 87, of Lincoln passed away Friday, May 23, 2025 at her residence in Lincoln.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A.M. Monday, June 2nd at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator.
Visitation will be from 10:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Monday, June 2nd at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Lincoln. Pallbearers will be nephews, Jimmy Chalkey, Dean Chalkey, John Woods, Bob Harms, Jeff Baggett and Troy Harcar.
The Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator, is in charge of arrangements.
Born December 30, 1937 in Pontiac she was the daughter of Bernard and Daisy (McConnaughay) Woods. She married Burke Miller in 1970. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2012.
She is survived by a sister, Bonnie (Dave) Baxter of Tucson, Arizona; a brother-in-law, James Chalkey of Streator; numerous nieces and nephews including a very special niece who cared for her for many years, Becky Chalkey of Streator.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Gail Weiner and Sharon Chalkey; brothers, Kenny Woods, Gary Woods, and twin brothers, Danny and Donny Woods.
Born and raised in Pontiac she attended Pontiac grade schools and graduated from Odell High School.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Family was very important to Carol and she valued them very much. She also loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats.
Memorials can be made to any animal charity in Carol’s name.
