Cheryl L. Angeles, 65, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

  Graveside services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, November 20th at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Dwight.

  Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born October 27, 1957 in Pontiac she was the daughter of Robert and Juanita (Lockwood) Irvin.  She married Guilebaldo “Willie” Angeles on March 19, 1982 in Ottawa, Illinois. 

  She is survived by her husband,  Guilebaldo “Willy” Angeles of Wichita, Kansas; sisters, Carol (Jerry) Hammett of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Diana Araiza of Ottawa and Linda Irvin of Streator; a brother, Robert (Kathy) Irvin of Nappanee, Indiana; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sharon Looney, Jean Irvin and Patricia Irvin; brothers, David Irvin and Jerry Irvin; paternal grandparents, Hamilton and Frances Irvin and maternal grandparents, Clifford and Martha Lockwood.

  Raised in the Streator area she attended Woodland grade school and Woodland High School.

  She worked as a C.N.A. through the years at various nursing homes in Ottawa, Dwight, Flanagan and Streator.  She also provided private home care in Streator.

  Through the years Cheryl enjoyed Bingo, dancing, going to the casino, spending time with her family and being a caretaker for the elderly.  She loved her dogs and cats very much and treated them like her own children.
