Cynthia L. Talty, 63, of Streator passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at her residence.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A.M. Saturday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. Fr. Ghislain Inai will officiate.
Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Saturday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Burial will be in the New Michigan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Spaniol, Tim Spaniol, Lawrence Talty, Raymond Talty, Michael Sedlock, Stephanie Spaniol and Parker Sedlock. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Ashlynn Talty, Eleanor Thompson-Talty, Lily Sedlock, Amelia Sedlock and Rhett Talty.
Born April 2, 1959 in Streator, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Elizabeth (Soltis) Spaniol.
She is survived by a daughter, Becca (Mike) Sedlock of Ransom; sons, Lawrence (Amanda) Talty of Trinity, Alabama and Raymond Talty of Cornell; grandchildren, Eleanor Thompson-Talty, Ashlynn Talty, Rhett Talty, Parker Sedlock, Lily Sedlock and Amelia Sedlock; sisters, Susan Fujinaga of Manville, Barb (Jim) Willoughby of Knoxville, Iowa, Clare (Terry) Brust of Dwight and Amy (Russ) Gass of Kangley; brothers, Stephen (Connie) Spaniol of Manville, Phillip (Diane) Spaniol of Munster, Dave Spaniol of Manville and Dale Spaniol of Manville; several nieces and nephews; she is also survived by her beloved dog, Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Cathy Umbarger-Livengood and Patricia Hess; and a brother, Raymond Spaniol.
Born and raised in Streator, she attended Woodland Grade School and graduated from Woodland High School in the class of 1977.
She worked through the years for Mr. Quick’s in Pontiac, Livingston County Nursing Home and RR Donnelly’s. She also cleaned housed for over 15 years.
She was a member of the former St. Anthony Church and currently belonged to St. Michael the Archangel Church.
Cindy loved being a “Maw” to her grandkids. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
