David R. Arellano

  David R. Arellano, 62, of LaSalle passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

  Cremation rites have been accorded.  There will be no services.  The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born November 28, 1963 in Joliet he was the son of David and Sue (Puthoff) Arellano.  He married Laurie Karlstad on October 22, 1988. 

  He is survived by his wife, Laurie Arellano of Streator; his mother, Sue Arellano of Lake Stevens, Washington; daughters, Carolyn Morgan of Streator and Candace Reese of San Anthonio, Texas; sons, Keith Arellano of Denver, Colorado and David Arellano of Daytona Beach, Florida; sisters, Cindy Arellano and Christine Arellano; a brother, Dougie Arellano; grandchildren, Alexia Arellano, Aryannah Morgan, Michael Morgan, Carter Vandoozer, Corbin Leja and Camren Reese; and great grandchildren, Aurora Arellano, Makayla, Levi and Evelyn Leja.

  He was preceded in death by his father.

  Born and raised in Joliet he attended Joliet schools.

  He served in the United States Army.

  Through the years he worked as a tile setter.
