Obituary
Debbie Hays, 65, of Streator passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at her residence in Streator.
Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Burial will be at 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Born August 5, 1956 in Streator, she was the daughter of Mary “Zebell” Nicklin.
She is survived by her children, Rick Hays, Nikki (Dave) Connor, and Darla Hays; grandchildren, Mikayla and Kaiden Connor, Brayden Hays, Jayden and Jaxen Hays-Lanning; sisters, Donna Dennis, Patty Cervantez all of Streator; stepbrother, Ray Nicklin Jr. and her beloved dog, Maggie.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Nicklin and her stepfather who helped raise her, Ray Nicklin Sr.; brother-in-law, Carl Dennis Sr.; nieces, Breanna Dennis and Miranda Carrillo.
Born and raised in Streator, she attended Woodland schools. She worked through the years for Thatcher’s Glass and Exact Packaging in Pontiac. She also worked as a caregiver. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
