Diana L. Elias

Diana L. Elias, 66, of Long Point passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at O.S.F. St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A private family service will be held at a later date. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born December 12, 1953 in Carbondale she was the daughter of Donald and Josephine (Aldorizio) Chamness. She married Francis William “Bill” Elias of October 8, 1982. He survives in Streator.

She is also survived by a daughter, Shay Elias of Aurora; sons, Eric (Heather) of Streator, Shaun (Rachel) Elias of Morton and Keith (Mandy) Elias of New Jersey; a sister, Marsha (Mike) Henderson of Nevada; and a brother, Allan (Sondra) Turpin of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her son, Nigel Elias.

Diana attended Streator Grade Schools and graduated from Woodland High School.

She was a member of the Central Church of Christ.

She worked through the years for St. Mary’s Hospital as a Nurse’s Aide.
