Dianne C. Dzurisin, 81, of Streator passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 1st at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. 

  Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Saturday, June 1st at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. 

  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator.  Cremation rites have been accorded.

  Born September 27, 1942 in Streator she was the daughter of John and Nora (Benvenuti) Drapp. She married James T. “Zudy” Dzurisin on July 20, 1963 at Immaculate Conception Church, Streator.  He preceded her in death on February 12, 2024.

  She is survived by sons, Kirk Dzurisin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Dave Dzurisin of Zionsville, Indiana; grandchildren, Margaret Dzurisin of Moab, Utah, Abby (Nick) Siegwarth of Zionsville, Indiana, Hayden Dzurisin of East Troy, Wisconsin, Molly Dzurisin of Zionsville, Indiana, Weston Dzurisin of Palatine and Eliza Dzurisin of Davenport, Iowa.

  She was preceded in death by her parents.

  Born and raised in Streator she attended local grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1960.

  She worked through the years for JC Penney as an Administrative Assistant and later for Knoedler’s manufacturing.

  She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and currently belonged to St. Michael the Archangel Church.  She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and was active through the years working the funeral luncheons at the K of C.

  Family and friends were most important to Di. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.
