Donna J. Clary

   Donna J. Clary, 59, of Streator passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

  Funeral services will be at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 6th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 6th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

  Born August 29, 1963 in Streator she was the daughter of Bernard and Darlene (Bennett) Sullivan.  She married Norman O. Clary on July 22, 1989 in Magnolia. 

  She is survived by her husband, Norman Clary of Streator; daughters, Jessica Clary of Streator and Paige Clary of Streator; stepchildren, Ethan Clary and Shannon Burash; sisters, Martha Mahan of Streator, Judy (John) Manley of Minonk, Linda (Denny) Corbett of Urbana and Karen Sullivan of Streator; brothers, Larry (Cathy) Sullivan of Streator and Rick Sullivan of Lostant; a granddaughter, Athia McKinnie of Streator; step-grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

  She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Joshua Manley.

  Born and raised in Streator she attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1982. 

  After raising her family Donna attended Illinois Valley Community College where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Development.  She then went on to work for several years as a Teacher’s Aide at Streator Head Start which was a job she really loved.  While raising her family she also watched many children through the years in her home including many of her nieces and nephews.

  She enjoyed playing Bingo and camping.  She was also a member of the Streator Moose Club.

  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
