Duane K. Von Ruden

Duane A. Von Ruden, 78, of Streator died Thursday June 9, 2022 at his home.

  Private family funeral services will be held Friday at Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.  Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator.

 Mr. Von Ruden was born January 11, 1944 in Wilton, Wisconsin, the son of John and Elsie (Heintz) Von Ruden. He married Janice Daniels at the First United Methodist Church in Streator on May 1, 1976. She survives.

 Duane had been employed as an Engineer at Sammons Communications and later Mediacom in Streator. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam era.

 He is survived by his wife, Janice of Streator, one brother, Robert Von Ruden, Ottawa and Janice’s nephew, Brian (Deborah) Martin, Streator.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother John and sister-in-law, Dorothy Martin.
