Elizabeth A. Gallegos

  Elizabeth “Beth” Gallegos, 59, of Streator passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

  Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.  Cremation rites will be accorded.  The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born December 5, 1963 in Streator she was the daughter of Harold Swartz and Eleanore Holocker.  She was previously married to Jose Gallegos who preceded her in death.

  She is survived by daughters, Maria (Robert Wood) Gallegos of Streator and Tiffany Gray of Streator; sons, Antonio Gallegos of Streator, Michael Gallegos of Streator, Justin Swartz of Toluca and Zachary Wheeler of Streator; grandchildren, Ruben Diaz and Lydia Sanchez; Kylah, Gavino, Mateo and Cruz Gallegos; Issac McKimm and Jynasis Swartz; Jaiden and Kaden Smith; Harmonie, Jaceon and Jamarion Cheers;  sisters, Theresa Carrillo of Streator, Cheryl Warfield of Streator, Sherry (Halden) Duckett of Pekin, Tina Greer of Streator and Kris (Scott) Hallam of Streator; and a brother, Hal Swartz of Streator.

  She was born and raised in Streator and attended Streator High School.

  She worked at the New Oakley Inn for many years. 

  Beth was a cat lover and she especially loved her precious cat Preston.  She was also an avid Chicago Cubs and Dallas Cowboys fan. 

  She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
