Emilie J. Yusko

Emilie J. Yusko, 79, of Streator passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at her residence in Streator.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A.M. Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. Msgr. Philip Halfacre will officiate.

Visitation will from 9-11 A.M. Friday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Streator. Pallbearers will be her family members.

Born April 2, 1937 in Lostant she was the daughter of Albert and Suzanna (Zimmer) Dose. She married Gerald F. Yusko on April 16, 1955 at St. John’s Church in Lostant. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2014.

She is also survived by daughters, Becky White of Kangley, Lori (Chris) Roberts of Streator, Pauline (Craig) Erikson of Dwight; sons Gerald C. (Margie) Yusko of Scottsboro, Alabama and Daniel (Lisa) Yusko of Frankfort, IL; 16 Grandchildren; 30 Great Grandchildren; and a sister, Marcia Thompson of Ohio, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Albert and George Dose; and a sister, Bernadine McNally.

Born and raised in Lostant she attended Lostant schools.

She worked through the years for Camelot Terrace Nursing Home in the Laundry Department.

She was a member of the former St. Stephens Church and currently belonged to St. Michael the Archangel Parish.
