Frank R. Kovacevich

Frank R. Kovacevich, 62, of Ottawa passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at O.S.F. St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Visitation will be from 1-3 P.M. Sunday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private Burial will be held at a later date.

Born July 10, 1955 in Streator he was the son of Frank and Josephine (Pescitelli) Kovacevich. He married Martha Brewer.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Kovacevich of Ottawa; daughters, Jennifer (Jaycen) Burmeister of Loves Park and Emily (Adam) Driscoll of Mokena; grandchildren, Payton and Grace Burmeister; sisters, Marla Jean (Alan) Wheatland of Wood Dale and Joyce Kovacevich of Villa Park. He was also survived by his very special farming family who meant very much to him, Sam, Sandi, Kyle, Lynn, Kolten, Kassidy and Karson Kimpling.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one aunt and 6 uncles including, David Pescitelli by whom he was raised and farmed with for many years.

Born and raised in Streator he attended Streator schools and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1973. He later earned an Agriculture Degree from Illinois Valley Community College.

He farmed his lifetime in the rural Streator area.

Frank was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and Pheasants Forever.

He loved hunting and Muskie fishing.

Memorials may be directed to the O.S.F. St. Elizabeth Rehabilitation Center.
