George Kristich Obituary

George J. Kristich, 93, of Streator passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at his son’s residence in El Paso with his family by his side.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Streator. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born January 12, 1926 in Streator he was the son of Mary Dudak Kristich. He married Alice M. Boldrey on April 28, 1949. She preceded him in death on April 25, 2016.

He is survived by a daughter, Shelley Kristich of Lake Dallas, Texas; sons, George (Kathy) Kristich of Lake Dallas, Texas and Craig (Laura) Kristich of El Paso, Illinois; grandchildren, Justin of Chicago and Troy of Lake Dallas, Texas; great grandchildren, Colin of Pontiac and Cassidy of Lake Dallas, Texas; and sisters, Katie Ramert of Streator and Mary Ritchie of Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his wife; and sisters, Helen Dorsam and Lucille Schneider.

He lived his lifetime in Streator recently moving to El Paso.

He worked for Owens Illinois Glass Company and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
