Gina L. Melody

  Gina L. Melody, 59, of Streator passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at her residence in Streator.

  Private funeral services will be held.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator.  The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born March 15, 1967 in Streator she was the daughter of James Melody and Carolyn Ator. 

  She is survived by her mother, Carolyn (Lloyd Neubauer) Evans of Streator; a son, Jaron (Whitney) Burash of Plainfield; daughters, Meg (Drew Dellinger) Drysdale of Streator and Gracie (Brendan Bradley) Drysdale of Streator; grandchildren, Harlow, Harper and Hadley Burash; brothers, Kirk (Denice) Melody of Varna and Mark (Carissa) Melody of Germantown Hills; a niece, Ashly Melody; nephews, Trace and Drew Melody; aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

  She was preceded in death by her father, James Melody; step-father, Bill Evans; paternal and maternal grandparents also preceded her in death.

  Born and raised in Streator she attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1985.

  She had last worked for St. Mary’s Hospital.

  She was of the Catholic faith.

  Her greatest joy in life were her children and grandchildren.  She was an awesome cook and loved to go fishing.
