Jack R. Lord

  Jack R. Lord, age 79, passed away on April 20, 2026. He was born on January 27, 1947.

Jack lived in Streator, Illinois, and was formerly of Crown Point, Indiana. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Janice Lord, and a loving father to his daughter, Karen Rambo (Randy). He is also survived by his siblings, Judy (Ron) Backus, Donna (Allen) Coleman, Susan Heckel, and David Heckel (Susan), along with many friends who will miss him dearly.

  Jack worked as a railroad engineer; a career he took great pride in throughout his life. Beyond his work, his greatest passion was his ministry with the Jehovah’s Witnesses. His faith was deeply important to him, and he found great joy in sharing his beliefs and serving others.

  He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Heckel, and his stepfather, Leslie Heckel.

  Jack will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong faith, and the generosity he showed to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
