Jeffrey F. Riss

  Jeffrey F. Riss, 60, of Ransom passed away Friday, March 13, 2026 in Streator.

  Per Jeff’s request there will be no funeral services.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born August 23, 1965 in Bloomington he was the son of Floyd and Joyce (Held) Riss.  He married LeeAnn Sennott Riss.  She preceded him in death.

  He is survived by his mother, Joyce Riss of Ransom; a daughter, Devin Riss of Bloomington; a son, Bryon (Lauren Bohnsack) Riss of Snohomish, Washington; a grandson, Bryson in Snohomish, Washington; a sister, Beverly (Stephen) Schmidt of North Bend, Oregon; an uncle, Donald Held of Ransom; a nephew and a niece in Oregon; and many cousins and friends.

  He was preceded in death by his father and his wife.
